Beating the Bully pt 2

This is a brief addendum to the episode on Beating the bully in your head. When I said get out of the environment (change your perspective) and get going (release some of the energy bound up in the mental battle with the bully ), I was not advocating that you go out and over exercise if this is something your bully hounds you to do. The bully always punishes. In the example I gave my bully tried to get me to work harder and harder until I was exhausted and despairing. So I got out of the ring (literally and physically, I left the building); and because it was a mental fight, I got going physically to release some of that energy. But you need to understand when I walk I ENJOY it.  I’m not doing it to burn calories or appease my bully. I don’t have that fight these days. But IF YOU DO, I am not advocating you do anything other then defy the bully and get out of the ring. So, if your bully hounds you to overexercise, do the opposite…walk SLOW, breathe deep, enjoy the air, stop and sit in the sun…laugh in his face and tell the bully to get the hell off your back!
