Losing perfectionism

I love this play on words. I use it deliberately. Perfectionism is a losing game. The more you chase perfectionism the more it will elude you. You will find yourself chasing your tail and getting worn down in the process. And who knows what you may lose along the way…health, friends, money, time… opportunity…JOY! I have loved (& hated) the journey of losing my perfectionism. Hated because it’s been hard hard work. LOVED because the freedom on the other side of the journey is worth it. Yesterday I posted a podcast that was far from ideal but the content was important and I let it go because I know the message (beating the bully in your head) could be a “stitch in time” for someone who is losing that battle right now. And I know how ferocious that battle can get in the ED space. There is much more I could say on this topic. And I will.. Stay tuned. PS. Questions and feedback welcome.
